Summer 2018 | Iowa State University | College of Design
Computation + Construction Lab (CCL) was chosen to represent Iowa State University at the Iowa State Fair. IM_RU, an interdisciplinary design build, from the spring semester of  2017 was redesigned, fabricated in the CCL, transported and built at the 2018 Iowa State Fair. Also on display were the four Dremel 3D40 3D printers used to print the connections holding the box modules together.
“By exploding and scattering what is seen, the IM_RU2 pavilion shows through architecture and public space that a person is simultaneously confronted with a wide range of individual and collective perceptions.”
